TAIPEI, TAIWAN

台北, 台灣

I remember we were so devastated when we moved to America because we could not find a pudding like this here. Us and mom and dad all loved them since we were little and I remember every summer when we go back to Taiwan we'd always get these at 7/11.

I miss those hot humid summer nights when I visited home. When I still had jet-lag it was so easy to just walk downstairs from my grandma's house and buy a bunch of these puddings and eat them while watching the Taiwanese drama show with my mom. And in Taipei, the streets are always lively so it was never scary for me to go outsife myself at 3am. I would see teenagers playing basketball in the park and the uncles that run breakfast places start making their batch of food.
